There may not be NHL hockey played this October, but one thing Canadians have to look forward to is an arena rock tour by alternative first liners The Smashing Pumpkins. This is the Pumpkins’ first full tour of Canada since the Summersault festival series in 2000, and will be highlighted by them performing their new album-within-an-album Oceania in its entirely. Don’t worry, frontman Billy Corgan promises you’ll also hear plenty of so-called classics, which the band are actively soliciting through their social networks.
