The Tallest Man On Earth‘s Kristian Matsson celebrated the release of his new album There’s No Leaving Now with a sold out performance at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this summer. LA Weekly was there to cover the show saying “The staging was sparse, consisting of little more than a quiver of guitars, a piano, a single chair, and Matsson himself… but in terms of confidence and musical stature, he filled the place to the rafters.”
With performances at Lollapalooza, The Newport Folk Festival, Pukkelpop, Green Man Festival, and across the Eastern U.S. already confirmed, The Tallest Man On Earth will tour the West Coast in August and September. Strand of Oaks will open for Tallest Man on both legs of the North American tour. A few new European tour dates including a performance at Pitchfork Festival Paris have been added as well. Check out the full list of tour dates below. Providing opening support will be another like minded and similar sounding up and comer Strand Of Oaks.

“An engagingly direct singer-songwriter unafraid to get straight to the heart of the matter, a refreshing change of pace as his contemporaries pile on layers of abstract atmosperics”
