Movie theatres are the new music venues, or at least that‘s what it seems like this fall. The big screen will be rocking starting on September 20th with Hungarian Rhapsody – That’s a Queen concert from Soviet-occupied Budapest in 1986, remastered in HD as well as 5.1 surround sound. The Vancouver International Film Festival will then host the premiere of Bobcaygeon, chronicling a 2011 festival headlined by veteran Canadian rockers The Tragically Hip in the small Ontario town they had immortalized in song years before. And not to be outdone, Led Zeppelin will bestow Celebration Day upon us, the long-awaited release of their legendary one-shot reunion in 2007 at London’s O2 Arena. Looks like I’ll be going to my local cinema a lot in the next few months! With your Music Emissions Minute, this has been the ROCKthusiast Gilles LeBlanc.
