Staying lifted as ever, Jet Life returns with the follow-up to last year’s highly-acclaimed album, Jet World Order. Led by the New Orleans Spitta, the crew also consisting of Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Smoke DZA, Sir Michael Rocks, and more continues to raise the bar and elevate its craft far beyond the limits of aviation with the much anticipated Jet World Order 2. Jet World Order 2 hits stores worldwide on November 20th via Jets International / iHipHop Distribution.
It’s no secret that Curren$y‘s Jet Life crew consists of the most beloved paper plane pilots in the game, and according to Pitchfork, “Rap is predicated on the idea of who you want to get high with and right now, the Jets run that lane.” Jet World Order 2 proves AllHipHop’s statements to be correct, as they exclaimed, “[Curren$y] and his crew really do live the Jet Life, and seemingly, their flight is far from over.” Listeners are once again in for a smooth journey as the crew soars above the turbulence to ride the chill instrumentals long-time fans have come to expect from Jet Life.
The 1st single from the album is “No Sleep,” and was produced by Fortunate Ones. According to Hip-HopDX, Jet Life’s Jet World Order debuted at No. 148 on the charts with 4,200 copies sold upon its release last year. Check out the promo video, and the first track.
Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y’s collaborative mixtape, Live In Concert, is still lying in wait while samples are cleared. Wiz recently tweeted that it should be ready for release this month. Wiz also hinted at the possibility of also dropping CabinFever 2 soon as well.
