CMJ And KEXP to Host Live Broadcast With The Walkmen, Poor Moon, The Antlers and More

CMJ is proud to announce CMJ Union, its own showcase venue and bustling social hub, located at Union Square Ballroom in the heart of downtown Manhattan.
New for 2012, CMJ is partnering with Seattle radio powerhouse KEXP to present an exclusive broadcast series, live from CMJ Union. Held from October 17 – 19, the series will feature live music sets by the Walkmen, Poor Moon, the Antlers and many others.
Additional bands slated to rock CMJ Union include Kishi Bashi, DIIV, Line & Circle, Little Green Cars, Daughter, Wild Nothing and more. KEXP DJs John Richards and Cheryl Waters will spin in between sets.
The event is free and open to the public, 18 years of age and older. Non-CMJ badgeholders are required to RSVP at cmj.com/kexp. Please note, RSVP does not guarantee entry. Entry will be on a first come, first served basis.
CMJ Union will also play host to nighttime showcases, CMJ Artist and Press Lounge and a variety of special events. For more information on these events as they are announced, please visit cmj.com/cmjunion.
