Introduced to female rapper Kreayshawn’s Breakfast (Syrup) featuring 2Chainz by another Music Emissions staff member, a new day is clearly dawning in hip-hop. Repping for the “bad girls” that aren’t about catty drama, can “make it rain” by choice and hip-hop party like the boys, her all-female Group Hug Tour has been criss-crossing the U.S. and Canada since November 1st. Reading more about her opening acts, I was immediately amused and fascinated by Dubai-born, Bay Area based dancer turned rapper Chippy Nonstop.
When I heard "Money Dance", "Kicked Out Da Club", "ChOOk ChOOk Tare" with Kreayshawn and "Spaghetti aka "Party With Your P*ssy Out" with MTV's Andy Milonakis, I knew she'd be fun to interview with crazy stories to tell. Chatting with Chippy during a break in NY on the Group Hug Tour, she did not disappoint.
