World-renowned indie record label Arts & Crafts is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and what better way to do so than by curating its own festival? Better get your permission slips signed for the Field Trip Music & Arts Festival, happening Saturday June 8th at Toronto’s Garrison Common, on the grounds of historic Fort York. A good chunk of the current A&C roster will be spread out over two stages, including international imports Bloc Party, Thornhill folk hero Hayden, rustic blues rockers Timber Timbre, and 2012 Polaris Music Prize recipient Ms. Leslie Feist. Oh, and headliners Broken Social Scene are ending their nearly two year hiatus, but for one night only. So it’s kind of a big deal. $55 early bird tickets will be on sale as of Wednesday, January 16th via Ticketmaster or FieldTripLife.com.
