Remember indie hip-hop extradordinaries Das Racist? Word broke late last year that the outfit have split and gone their separate ways. One of the members, Heems, released his second solo mixtape Wild Water Kingdom before the group broken up. In his first official solo music video, he leaves behind stereotypical hip-hop themes to take on controversial political issues, especially military drones. One of only a few minorities to actively oppose the current president and his administration, this is a courageous path more will hopefully follow. This is a great example of the power of art.
