Young Prisms premiere their new music video “Runner” on Spin, and their new record In Between is out now On Kanine Records.
The focus of “Runner” is how memory functions as a form of personal archaeology. It is an observant comment on recollecting the experience of youth – love, friendships, heartbreaks, etc. It reflects the hostile reactions to the mundanities of everyday life as people try to find something to do when they have nothing to do. The video was shot in Los Angeles, CA and Long Beach, CA between October 2012 and December 2012.
The video is a collaborative effort by Young Prisms’ life long friends Andrew Stephen Lee (director) and Andrew Crighton (cinematographer). “Runner” is off 2012′s In Between (Kanine Records).
