To celebrate his birthday earlier this week, pop-culture artisan and SSION frontman Cody Critcheloe teamed up with Dazed to debut his newest video creation for the Bent bonus song, “HIGH.” Shot in his native Kansas City and conceptualised and directed by Cody himself, “HIGH” is an Americanized Dante’s Inferno, which finds him playing out his artistic obsession with the grotesque. It’s a circus meets Japanese game show. He has directed music videos for Peaches, Santigold, and CSS.
