The official music video for Joey Bada$$’ single “Unorthodox,” can now be viewed for its worldwide premiere at MTV.com. Directed by acclaimed directors Coodie & Chike from Creative Control, the video takes the audience on an illustrated journey with Joey and Pro Era through the cold streets of Brooklyn. Featuring picturesque backgrounds, and taking inspiration from the illustrations of artist Evan Hecox, Coodie & Chike successfully blend animation with the surrounding elements and Joey’s gritty lyrics.

SXSW also marks the official live premiere of “Unorthodox” with Joey Bada$$, Pro Era and DJ Premier performing the single at the Green Label Sound house followed by Pro Era heading out on their the Beast Coastal tour across North America this Spring. Joey will also be performing “Unorthodox” at the Woodies Festival at SXSW on the MTV Jams stage leading up to the Woodie Awards with that performance to be aired on MTV2 – Week in Jams, MTV Jams, MTVU and AMTV following the event.
