Anthrax’s exclusive song premiere, “Smokin” (Boston cover) released as part of upcoming “Anthems” EP

After an 8-year wait by fans for the Worship Music album, Anthrax just released today a Boston cover son off their upcoming Anthems EP that is set to be released on March 22nd.  Also set to appear on the record are going to be the legendary group’s take on classic anthems by Cheap Trick (‘Big Eyes‘), Thin Lizzy (‘Jailbreak‘), and AC/DC (‘T.N.T.‘).  Along with the cover of ‘Smokin’, we have found another release from back in February of Rush’s “Anthem” also to appear on the EP; catch the video after the jump to hear it.  Check out Anthrax’s tour schedule for the United States below and stay tuned to Music Emissions for more on Anthrax’s next EP when it is released.
