The Nashville rock brother duo Jeff The Brotherhood have lately been on tour as opening support for Best Coast. Earlier this year, they released a new EP called Hyptonic Knights. Their news broke via Twitter last night that a handful of these upcoming dates will have to be canceled. Jake, who plays guitar, has a broken hand. Per their Twitter account:
HEY JAKE BROKE HIS HAND SO WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE REST OF OUR DATES WITH @best_coast WE R REALLY SORRY AND BUMMED :(
DOCTOR THINKS ITS FRACTURED BUT CANT TELL THIS EARLY, CANT PLAY HIS GUITAR THOUGH, MAJOR BUMMER
NONE OF OUR LATER JUNE SHOWS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED
According to NashvilleScene.com, the canceled shows include Omaha, St. Louis and Dallas, not to mention a festival date June 2 in Houston. Looking at the upcoming tour dates, it looks like local bands from the areas the shows are taking place are filling the void.
