Nationwide Headline Tour Now Underway

February 12, 2015 – “Bright” – the alluring new single from alt-pop breakout bandEchosmith – is already making huge waves at radio, and now and VH1.comhave premiered the accompanying music video. MTV describes the video as “just as beautiful as the song” and “completely light-hearted” in the masterful way that it “compares the complicated feeling of love into something that’s simply romantic: star-gazing.”

Directed by Declan Whitebloom (Taylor Swift, One Direction), the video follows the band as they prepare to head out on a camping adventure with a group of friends. As lead singer Sydney Sierota exclusively told ETonline behind the scenes at the shoot, “The song is very simple but at the same time it has a lot of meaning behind it, just about love.” She elaborated, “It’s about your friends and your significant other and all those that you interact with daily. That’s why this song I think deserves such a simple and beautiful video.”

“Bright” is the follow-up to last year’s certified platinum hit “Cool Kids,” which first launched the LA-based siblings into the spotlight. The new single just officially impacted at radio last week, and immediately was the #1 most added at both Top 40 and Hot AC, marking the beginning of what is sure to be a huge 2015 for Echosmith. The band just launched their first full-scale headline tour across the country, with multiple dates already sold out, and upcoming stops including Atlanta, New York, and Philadelphia. A full list of confirmed dates is below, and tickets are available now at

Echosmith and “Cool Kids” dominated the charts in 2014, everywhere from Hot AC and Top 40 radio to the Top 10 of the iTunes singles chart. Both MTV and VH1 took notice and named the band an MTV “Artist to Watch” and VH1 “You Oughta Know” Artist for the year, and in turn the band earned rave reviews from the likes of ELLERolling Stone,Teen Vogue, and Grantland, for their distinctive melody-minded, New Wave-influenced sound.

Echosmith is the Sierota siblings, led by 17-year-old Sydneyon vocals, with brothers Jamie (vocals/guitar), Noah (vocals/bass), and Graham (drums).

The album’s most recent single “Something Different” reached Top 5 at Active Rock radio, giving the group yet another top smash at the format.

GODSMACK has received high critical praise since its release of 1000hp. In a 3-out-of-4 star review, USA Today asserted, “GODSMACK has lost none of its pile-driving power,” The Boston Globe said, “On its sixth album, GODSMACK—which kicked off its hard-rock career in Boston’s bars nearly two decades ago—sounds leaner and meaner, and a bit nostalgic, too,” Loudwire beamed, “GODSMACK are back and showing a rejuvenated fury as they deliver the goods,” and Billboard put it best, “Hell hath no fury like GODSMACK.”

Get ready for a big 2015 from GODSMACK as they continue to steamroll forward at 1000HP.

Moreover, they’ve enjoyed 21 Top 10 hits at the format—the most of any act since February 1999 as well as four Grammy nominations, and winner of Billboard Music Awards Rock Artist of the Year in 2001. Selling over 20 million records worldwide, the band has also unleashed three consecutive albums at #1 on the Billboard Top 200—namely Faceless [2003], IV [2006], and The Oracle[2010]. This places them in league with Van Halen, U2, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, and Linkin Park who have also enjoyed the same streak. Moreover, the accomplishment on the road remains staggering with headlining sets everywhere from Mayhem and UPROAR to Rock on the Range.

Kaiser Chiefs

After more than ten years, four albums, platinum record sales, a volley of top ten singles and three Brit Awards, it would have been simple for Kaiser Chiefs to sit back and coast a while, to enjoy the warm glow of being one of Britain’s most cherished bands.

But in late 2012 there came a change: the departure of founding member and drummer Nick Hodgson, and thus the album Education, Education, Education & War began out of frustration. But in the days that followed, the sense of neutered creativity gave way to something thrilling and unleashed. By the end of that week, Rix recalls, they had “Nineteen or 20 ideas for songs.” And more importantly, Wilson says, “We had the spark that gave us hope.”

And since Education, Education, Education & War’s release, the band has shared that hopeful spark with audiences across the world; currently performing in South American stadiums with the Foo Fighters which will be followed by a select number of headlining area dates in the UK, the band will be returning to North America this April for a new run of tour dates with Portland-based alt-pop group Priory (see below).

But before they arrive on this side of the pond, fans get to hear the band’s latest stand-alone single, “Falling Awake.”

10,000 Maniacs Announce Official Release Date Of Their New Album And Offer A Sneak Peek!
Jamestown, NY – Having conquered the alternative rock world with multi-platinum selling albums and unforgettable singles such as “These Are Days,” 10,000 Maniacs are about to release the most ambitious album of their career, a full-length collection of traditional British Isles folk songs, titled Twice Told Tales’, newly interpreted by the band whose organic, neo-folk sound has influenced countless others. The official street date for the album is April 28 and will be made available on both CD as well as a special 180-gram 12” vinyl format from Cleopatra Records!10k maniacs 2 med res.jpg
Founding member and keyboardist Dennis Drew explains the germination of the project, “Folk music of all types has been a strong influence on the band. One of the songs on the new record ‘Do You Love An Apple’ has been in our repertoire for 30 years. We’ve also recorded Carter family songs and other American, Irish and British Folk music in the past.” With that experience under wing, the group set out to create an entire album’s worth of modern versions of traditional British folk classics that would fit right alongside the rest of the 10,000 Maniacs’ body of work. “These are timeless melodies,” Drew continues, “Some songs are funny, some are heartbreaking. Most are 100, 200, 300 years old. It’s crazy how they can be turned into 21st century pop songs!”
For a taste of what fans have in store, the band is streaming one full song from the new album, a delightful Irish rhyme “Misty Moisty Morning,” on Soundcloud.
