There were only two full albums that I ever really listened to, Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves. While the latter sported the amazing “Spirit of Radio”, the former had more of my favourites. Tom Sawyer, Limelight, etc.

I have to say that A Farewell to Kings was Rush at their apogee, before they went over the top with the prog on Hemispheres and into almost MTV fayre with Permanent Waves and Beyond

A Farewell To Kings is indeed the finest Rush that money can buy, if you ask me. Also, I know they changed drastically over the years, but if they ever tread into MTV territory, I’ve yet to hear it. That is the first and potentially last time I’ll ever heard that about Rush, haha.
