The initial line-up has been announced for The Bamboozle Festival 2012. The Bamboozle is an annual three-day music festival held in New Jersey. Every year, new bands compete for spots during the two days. The event evolved out of the Skate and Surf Festival, according to Wikipedia. Bamboozle is an artist development resource that has launched the careers of so many of today’s top national recording artists and celebrities, while providing incredible entertainment to over 1 million fans over the past 9 years. It’s taking place for 3 days in Asbury Park, NJ – May 18, 19, 20 2012.

What does the word mean? In the dictionary. To Hoodwink, or pull the wool over ones head. We actually did that to two clowns, this is check mate. It also has many different characters within the festival planning. Some of these characters are real people with false identities, who work to plan and operate the festival, while others are completely fictional, and serve as a means to give the public clues as to who may be playing at The Bamboozle.

Here are the acts that have been announced so far, with many more to come in the near future:

Foo Fighters

Bon Jovi

Mac Miller

Tickets are already on sale. We plan to cover this fest for the first time ever, thanks to Carina Contreras!

Update: More artists announced!

Jimmy Eat World

All American Rejects

A$AP Rocky
