I haven’t been a huge fan of the Raveonettes but this track took me by surprise. It is damn good. It’s got a bit of a Jesus and Mary Chain vibe to it. The song is called Black/White and it’s from their recently released EP entitled Beauty Dies. It is super catchy while still understated.

Personally, I loved their “Pretty in Black” album. Very contrived, I’ll admit, but no less enjoyable and a real throw-back to my favorite blends of pop, those of the 50’s-60’s. Digging this track too, can really pick up those J&MC vibes. Gotta get ahold of this EP at some point.
