It’s really happening…

First and foremost, this video is of course dedicated to Dennis, a huge Neil Diamond fan…While I really wanted to feature something from the new album “Dreams” (November 2nd, 2010), I was left with little choice but to focus on his past hits.

According to, the man has been making or performing music since he was 17 years old. That’s technically seven decades worth of dedication. Regardless of his total sales (115 million records), oftenly recognized for his intermittent chart success, in the end i think it’s safe to say, he does, what he wants and when he wants. That is truly the spirit of indie.

Dreams, will feature a collection of songs he holds close to his soul

Ain’t No Sunshine
Alone Again (Naturally)
Feels Like Home
Midnight Train To Georgia
I’m A Believer
Love Song
Losing You
A Song For You
Let It Be Me
Don’t Forget Me

Though “Hello, again” may have been more fitting…I thought this “Love On The Rocks” video to be as genuine and high quality as what was available.

Here’s a few more other indie titles tentatively scheduled for what’s remaining in 2010

Idlewild – Post Electric Blues
Joe Satriani – Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards
Tricky – Mixed Race
All That Remains – For We Are Many
Indigo Girls – Holly Happy Days
Less Than Jake – TV/EP
The Orb featuring David Gilmour [Pink Floyd] – Metallic Spheres
Meat Beat Manifesto – Answers Come In Dreams
Liz Phair – Funstyle [CD release]
Sister – Hazel Heartland Highway
Sufjan Stevens – The Age Of Adz
Kid Cudi – Man On The Mon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager
Jamiroquai – Rock Dust Light Star
Elvis Costello – National Ransom
Brian Eno – Small Craft On a Milk Sea
The Concretes – WYWH

Also tentatively expected…
Radiohead, ZZ Top, Mars Volta (Winter 2011 more likely), Royksopp, Panic! At The Disco O.A.R., Kraftwerk, Lyrics Born, Franz Ferdinand, Social Distortion and Lupe Fiasco.

If you have some info about an indie band that is not on this list, please by all means, have your say, and have a great weekend everyone.
