Here are some records from 2007 I just started to listen to and love in 2008

Sunset Rubdown - Random Spirit Lover

Battles - Mirrored

Justice - †

Its a shame, they would have been on my top 10 list had I heard them before I made the list! Really great albums, they are! I just bought "Random Spirit lover" and looking for "Mirrored" and "†" at a decent price (under $20 is hard to find)

The kids over at the Arcade Fire forum were frothing at the mouth while I frantically PMed people for the link. Of course I had heard 2 of the new songs from online streams, but hearning them in conjunction with the rest of the songs on s

Well I'm not quite so sick anymore. Woo! That was a bad time to get sick too...we moved to south Vancouver. I'm liking it very much! Better than where I used to live. There's buses going everywhere any time, DELICIOUS places to eat, and generally nicer people, I'd say.

I'm really tired from commuting though. There will be and end to that around January/February so till then I'll be busy with the travelling to and fro. I hate not having time to just relax at home, drinking tea and liste

Usually when I find something I like I dive right into it. I really like this site, but I've been getting really sick lately and can't really focus on much right now. But I'm taking it one day at a time. Its gotta be the accutane pills. Vanity will be the end of me. Nodular (or whatever its called) acne is pretty painful, so I guess it'll take pain to get rid of it.

Hopefully in a month or two I'll be back to my normal self and start getting into reviewing here and d

As an addition to the last video, Rebellion (Lies), one amazing moment is afterwards (though this is from Vancouver not Seattle) when the audience all 9,000 or so hums the song in unison as we wait for the encore:

and still feel just as excited as I was when I was there. Which was very VERY excited.
