Tags: Circa Survive, On Letting Go, The bombest band/cd ever
It's coming ever so close and I've begun to realize how completely excited I am about this new Circa Survive effort. Though, I previously stated I was more excited about The Fall of Troy, apparently, I didn't know what I was excited about more. I think I knew what was coming from TFOT and I had no expectations at all from Anthony & Co.
Then I heard two tracks off the new album, On Letting Go. "In The Morning and Amazing..." and "The Only Difference Between Medicine and Poison is the Dose" alone show me the exponential growth that I was totally unsure of but was I really, really hoping for.
"The Only Difference" is the single most impressive song I've heard from Circa Survive--without having heard the rest of the album. But this song has been played by them, live only, and you can tell the evolution it has gone through. The finale of the evolution this mind-boggling array of razorlike guitars. Green's voice and his lyrics are deeper and contemplative and higher and more powerful. The drumming has more style and the fill is fantastic without being show offy and overly fast.
Now I just have to convince Brian (hstisgod) to let me review the album. Please?

Now, now. First come, first serve. Symphony, if you want to get a review of your favorite band in then you have to have it on time and in before others. In this digital age, every has access to anything that you might want to review so anyone can beat you to it. You just have to be timely.
Anyway, Circa Survive, should be interesting. I'm looking forward to it too.

Sean, you go ahead and review both, do what you please. I'm not gonna stress myself out about reviewing artists IM DYING to review. That's truly not the spirit of this site, its merely a benefit. Truth is... well just read my response to your user review on Olympia Emergencies
I'm not sure what you wanted me to say here...I think you have a lot of potential, I just wish you'd start realizing it. Me? Just around the time you're reviewing TFOT or Circa, I'll probably be reviewing some barely regional artist that I've never heard of. Thats why I love this site, for what it gives me, not what I give to it.
