Bio
My name is Daniel Thompson. I love music and that is what brought me here to this website. I love the fact that I can review different albums over the internet, and it could be read by people around the world. I love reviewing albums. I'm into a lot of different music and styles of music.

Most Memorable Albums of 2007:

* Thrice - The Alchemy Index: Volumes 1 & 2
* The Receiving End of Sirens - The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi
* Every Time I Die - The Big Dirty
* Circa Survive - On Letting Go
* As Cities Burn - Come Now Sleep
* Mayday Parade - A Lesson In Romantics
* Say Anything - In Defense of The Genre

Top 5 Bands I Listened To The Most In 2007:
1. Boys Night Out
2. Every Time I Die
3. As Cities Burn
4. Emanuel
5. Mayday Parade

Artist of the Year:

As Cities Burn

- The reason that I chose As Cities Burn as the Artist of the Year, is because of how much they have changed and still managed to be successful. Think about it, after the band lost TJ, they could have easily picked someone new and continued working in the hardcore genre. But they took the chance to continue on as the band they were, but completely switch the genre of music they were going to produce. Knowing that the bets were against them, they went all in. And even though they lost a few closed minded fans, they continued to make a great album that was just as good as their debut album. And that is why As Cities Burn is my Artist of the Year.
