I m not going to go to myspace anymore. And if you are an independent artist that writes and sings songs or espouses ideas that are counter to those of News Corp then I think you should take your music down. By willing giving your music to Myspace you are filling the pockets and greasing the wheels of the very machines that most many indie artist and fans say they are against.

It is clear that the evolution of business models on the internet is becoming very rapid. Most of the services that are now considered to be in danger from new models were considered cutting edge not long ago. For some it has only taken about 5 years for their model to begin to show the chinks of growing obsolescence. Last weeked I watched a BBC report on News Corp;the company that owns Myspace. The Report featuresd a video of a speech by Rupert Murdoch's son James Murdoch.
