I haven't really found many people who have heard NoFX who don't like them. I remember hearing the song Bob and not only falling in love with the song but the band as well. Fat Mike, I love you!

I am actually quite saddened about this. I saw quite a few great shows at the Astoria during the 6 months I lived in London in 1996. One of my favorites was Teenage Fanclub. They had such a great presence and the acoustics of the venue were amazing. Raise a glass this weekend in salute to one of the best live music venues in the world. It is stated that the building will be demolished this weekend. There was a great show last night incl

- Michael Franti and Spearhead - All Rebel Rockers (Anti) : I don't know why I didn't see this album on anyone else list. Was it only released in Canada? This is the most fun, all round album I have heard in years. It's something I wish that Ben Harper would take a lesson from. Good dance tracks, good singer/songwriter songs, good reggae... It's all here.

I have to share this with you. Things heard by NBC broadcasters during their 2008 Olympic coverage:
1. Weightlifting commentator: 'This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing.'
2. Dressage commentator: 'This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother.'
3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: 'I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father.'
4. Boxing Analyst: '

Alright, It's been long enough... Time for another Random Playlist. This one is even more eclectic than I would have imagined. Where else would you have found the Black Metal stalwarts Emperor on the same playlist as Portishead? You may have noticed Serj Tankian on the list. My question to you who raved about Elect The Dead so much, have you listened to it lately? And if so, are you still digging it? It let me down. Enjoy Stars of The Lid. They are strange but definitely unique.
