Being the most popular indie band today (despite major label deals throughout the world) there are a lot of eyes on Radiohead right now for their follow-up to Hail To The Thief. Album 7 is currently being mastered in New York City and it is rumored that the untitled album will be out by the end of 2007.
Anyone have any ideas or heard anything else about the album? Album title anyone?
I might be one of the few who thought that Hail To The Thief was one of their best efforts (behind the Bends of course). So I am eager to hear what Thom and company have in store for the masses. At this point the band could release an album full of farts and it would sell.
Here's hoping it's a good one. Just in time for Christmas, most likely.

I think Thom doing solo is no different than Maynard doing A Perfect Circle, he takes things that don't seem right for Tool, and records em on his own. Same goes for Yorke...Sorry I know Im not someone else, but I had to say it...

I was thinking about this last night and my comment on Thom's solo side getting out. That's done and there experimental side has come out so we might just be due for a good straight ahead rock album this time. Anyone else have any insight on the new Radiohead?

Hope so. I think with Thom getting the "solo" out of his system with The Eraser one can only think that this will be much more of a band effort. Oh, they usually are but more focus may be the key here.

Dennis, you know damn well I thought Hail To The Thief was the completion of the recording maturation processes... from here on out, they will be terrific albums, but most of all can they ever be that good again..As for what I've heard of the album? They posted a song on their quasi blog site for all of 12 hours and I missed it... So perhaps some quotes from the band?
