The thread on the forums for the best music of 2007 is getting pretty cluttered so I decided to pull all of the editorial reviews and revered users lists into one comprehensive list. Quite diverse lists mean that our community was reaching out into different areas of music. Look into some of these bands and albums to find some great new music. Feel free to leave comments below on some obvious exclusions etc.

3. Amplexus - Deus Ex Machina Winner of the coveted first annual Music Emissions Indie Of The Year award. A whole website couldn't be wrong. Especially when Alternative Press follows suit.

5. The Snake The Cross The Crown - Cotton Teeth Smooth like expensive tequila
