These are not necessarily the best-written or most influential songs, just those that I find enjoyable. As 2009 goes on, I’ll probably delve into less known tracks — these are mostly very poppy indie works. In alphabetical order, by artist:
1.) “Oh No” — Andrew Bird
2.) “Two Doves” — Dirty Projectors
3.) “Osaka Loop Line” — Discovery
4.) “That Look You Give That Guy” — Eels
5.) “Train Song” — Feist and Ben Gibbard
6.) “Two Weeks” — Grizzly Bear
7.) “Never Had Nobody Like You” — M. Ward
8.) “Everyday” — Vetiver
9.) “Percussion Gun” — White Rabbits
10.) “You Never Know” — Wilco

Thanks for the props, hstisgod. Andrew Bird is one of my favorite artists, but with all of the violin and whistling and quaintness, he's not always easy for people to "get into". "Oh No" is a good transition into his work. I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

That's a sick tracklisting..Never heard the Andrew Bird song, not even a fan, but get a good feeling when its on a list like this.
