I've missed out on too many 2007 releases. I did get to hear some of my favorites but many were disappointing. For example, the new Modest Mouse was good at first, but it soon got a little tired. Smashing Pumpkins wasn't bad but I lost my interest after a while. Still a good album. Streetlight was a disapointing at first but it grew on me. Still not my favorite Kalnoky album. 2007 was such a great year besides a disapointment here and there. I really need to get off my ass and grab some of these CD's. Iron and Wine, The National, Fall of Troy, Explosions in the Sky. God, I missed everything!
"I did have a test today. That wasn't bullshit. It's on European socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European. I don't plan on being European, so who gives a crap if they're socialists? They could be fascist anarchists - that still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car. Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, 'I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.' Good point there. After all, he was 'The Walrus'. I could be the walrus, but I'd still have to bum rides off of people."
