Eh, I'm bored, generic, and I can't think of anything terribly interesting to talk about. I was trying to choose between my hatred toward my MP3 player, why playing guitar doesn't get you chicks unless you're NOT in a ska band or good, or why I think Billie Joe Armstrong is a better guitarist than those boring-as-hell shredder types. But I've always found these things fun to do so, here's my life according to my MP3 player on shuffle. It actually turned out alright...
Opening Credits: Go: Apples In Stereo
Good, upbeat way to start.
Waking up: My Generation: The Who
Aw hell yeah
Falling in love: Cheat: The Clash
Must have been a lame love.
Fight song: Scar Tissue: Red Hot Chili Peppers
It's not hard or intense but it works in it's own way.
Break up song: Say It Ain't So: Weezer
Well that ended up being incredibly accurate...
Making Up: Don't Leave Me: Green Day
...as well as this.
Life's Okay: American Gigolo: Weezer
Life is very good
Mental Breakdown: Alone Down There: Modest Mouse
This was very accurate too.
Driving: Soul To Squeeze: Red Hot Chili Peppers
I always felt the Chili Peppers were best on drives, including their older stuff. This works great.
Flashbacks: Double Team: Tenacious D
HAHAHA, greatest flashback ever.
Happy Dance: Today: Smashing Pumpkins
It was the greatest day Ive ever known.
Regret: All Alone In My Big Empty Apartment: Bomb the Music Industry!
Damn
Final Battle: Scattered: Green Day
Weird final battle, scattered pictures on my bedroom floor FTW!
Death Scene: Siva: Smashing Pumpkins
I just kick so much ass
Final Credits: Room Without A Window: Operation Ivy
Well there is always one that does not fit to well
So, overall, it turned out good... it's still not original at all...

Yeah, it's fun to do. Besides the last few songs, it was accurate. But about Weezer, I'll never admit that the Blue Album is better than Pinkerton.

This is awesome, I can comment on my own blog. I forgot to mention that it was all on shuffle and random, so I didn't pick the songs. And Dennis, I'll never say that the Blue Album is better than Pinkerton... even if the Blue is really, really, really good.

I have to admit, all of those songs seem quite fitting for the moments they're supposed to describe. Most of the time that I see these things, there's no rhyme or reason to them, and they end up seeming silly. I mean, yes, I know they're selected randomly, so there's more than a good chance that you're gonna get something like Gorguts to accompany your tender love scene...I did this a while back and was actually surprised at how fitting mine, was as well. Maybe I'll post it. Or maybe I'll go get a sandwich.
Sandwich it is...

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Thanks for diving in and being one of the first posters.
Anyway, with regards to your post, I'd buy your soundtrack. I see you picked a song from Weezer's Blue album. I knew it was the better of their first two. ;)
