Leaving for England in Less Than 10

Don't miss me too much.  I'm gonna bring a stack of indie cds and listen to only them, so I'll have stuff to write about when I get back.  I'm kinda nervous, kinda apathetic; the kids I'm going with are mostly lame (and overly, overly, and i repeat, overly) eccentric, so I'll definitely be biting my tongue a lot.

I'm gone the 15th.  I'm gonna write up one or two more reviews, then I'm attacking a stack of cds I should've finished a long while ago.  Stupid Seton Hall and their crazy workload...

It's a theatre class.  We're seeing A Midsummer Night's Dream in the Globe Theatre, Wicked, and some other play.  It should be cool.

Is there an educational element to your visit, or are you just coming to sample proper beer? (no seriously why are are you coming - do you hate your government that much?)

No, Bushy's right. You don't want to be perceived as an American in the UK. People will mock and ridicule you. Buy the Canadian Flag. It's quite attractive too! The British girls will be all over you.

Honestly though you could deflect potential criticism attracted by your friends by stitching a Maple Leaf to your backpack, saying "eh" at the end of every sentence and wearing a check shirt.

I've informed the authorities - don't bother stocking up on CDs while you're here, they'll all be lost in Terminal 5 ;-)

I lived in London for 6 months. It was awesome! I was happy to get back though. Let me know if you want any tips on places to go. What is your itinerary like?

Make sure and hit the used CD shops in Soho. They are wicked!

I'm an idiot for doing this, but Seton Hall represent! Had to show a little NJ pride here. While you're in England, pick up as many skinhead reggae 45's as you possibly can, then get on ebay immediately upon returning home. You will be a rich man. Oh, and find us something cool that's NOT shitty "dance" punk.
