This is the Midwest’s Biggest Beach Party & Concert. This event is scheduled to take place July 21st – 25th, 2010 at several exclusive venues throughout the internationally nominated “Most Livable City” and “All American City” Toledo, Ohio. The main event takes place Sunday July 25th 2010 at Maumee Bay State Park in Maumee, OH just 15 minutes outside of Toledo.The Bay At the Bay is an event designed to educate artists and showcase talent while sending a positive message through our non- profit organization “ The R.E.A.L. Initiative® ” (Ready to Educate And Learn). With the understanding that music and entertainment icons influence the youth, the goal is to send positive messages through famous and influential musicians that come to support the projects we host.The Bash At The Bay 2010 draws diversity, support and recognition to some of the Midwest’s most talented performers and DJ’s from major label music executives & media outlets. This event is designed to facilitate the fraternization of signed artists, the DJ’s that play their music, and aspiring artistsHutch Daddy Dolla of the Core DJ’s has spent the last four (4) years utilizing the Bash At The Bay as a vehicle to give back and educate the community. He has used his personal relationships as well as personal funds in order insure the attendance of major celebrities so that they may deliver the positive messages the event promotes. As a Humanitarian, Hutch Daddy Dolla refuses to give up on neither the city of Toledo nor the youth of his adopted hometown. The Bash At The Bay is a testament to his dedication, accomplishing what many individuals would not or could not do for four consecutive years. Many of the nation’s biggest celebrities such platinum artists DJ Drama, Pretty Ricky, Yung Joc, Twista, Hurricane Chris, Comedian Shawty Shawty, Huey, and Tank have all attended and participated in this one of a kind event. Tennessee Titan NFL Player Nate Washington and national recording artist Lyfe Jennings, both natives of Toledo, OH, have also become vested in the success of The Bash At The Bay. Moreover artists such as Maino, Ben One, Gorilla Zoe, Jagged Edge, Lil Corey, Young Steff, Marc Nelson of Az Yet, Comedian Eddie Griffin have already committed to this years event.ABOUT R.E.A.L. Initiative®Ready to Educate And Learn is the Bash At The Bay’s non-profit organization. This initiative is dedicated to educating, empowering and mobilizing the youth and the community. Drug awareness, gang violence, sex education, voter registration, and continuing education are only a few issues The R.E.A.L. Initiative® addresses. The Bash At The Bay has also joined forces and built strong healthy relationships with The Lucas County Sherriff’s Department, The Toledo Police Department, The YMCA of Greater of Toledo, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Toledo, The Gang Task Force of Northwest Ohio, The City of Toledo, The State of Ohio, The Lucas County Children Services, The Lucas County Health Department, and Plan Parenthood to insure our community receives the best knowledge from the professionals who are just as committed to empowering and uplifting the community at a glance.
